Our browser offers you many opportunities to validate the model for eg. using options such as “Storey Slide” or “Filter” (plugin). In this way, you check eg. whether the elements have well defined parameters, or implementation phase (eg. Floor).

Multiple measurement module options will provide you the possibility for quick checking of the quantity for one or more elements (in any of the declared units: m, m2, m3). After two clicks you can get information about the area of the cavity wall, the volume of the concrete foundation slab, the weight of selected steel elements, etc. Additionally, if you want to quickly and efficiently estimate the cost of the work, you can use another other tool offered by us – BIMestiMate.

Change is an integral part of project management. We understand this and that is why we have equipped BIMvision with the option to monitor and manage changes. The “Change” option identifies changes in subsequent versions of the model, at the same time classifying them automatically into groups depending on the type of change.

• minimizing the risk of errors at the implementation stage

The option allows you to easily navigate in the model from the perspective of the first person (e.g. free walking around the building). The camera rotates around the observer.  This mode is useful for navigating within infrastructure models or for indoor navigation, especially in touch mode.

This format allows you to save all opened IFC files to one file (including plugin data). We can, for example: open several files for different industries for one object (using the Multifile module), add comments and save everything as one file with the BVF extension. When you open it again you will find everything in one place, both all IFC files and previously made comments.

Now you can add a cutting plane of the selected face (by default) or a selected edge or the global axis. What’s more, you can move the cutting plane directly on the model view with a simple mouse movement (Shift + left mouse button) or using (as before) the Shift + scroll option of the mouse.

BIMvision has a new dimension. From now on we have the opportunity to work based on files in IFC4 format.
