The overall goal of the UrbanBIM project was to create and strengthen mutual cooperation, both at the educational and professional level, by creating, among others, an application operating on BIM models in urban areas and taking into account environmental indicators such as carbon footprint, water footprint or embedded energy (energy intensity). The project ran for over two years from autumn 2018 to the end of 2020.
The event, organized by the project coordinator, Translvania din Brasov University (UNITBv), presented the project’s results as well as the importance of using BIM methodology for sustainable development.
Our company presented its work in the form of a new plug-in for the BIM Vision platform – Urban BIM. Using the material base prepared by the University of Seville, the plug-in allows you to calculate environmental values and present them graphically.
