Discover DXF Exporter – a new plugin for BIMvision that facilitates the transfer of IFC model geometry to CAD applications, such as AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD, or DraftSight.
The plugin allows you to export both sections created using BIMvision’s cutting planes and the visible geometry of a 3D model. The resulting files are based on the actual geometry of the elements, generated at a 1:1 scale while preserving the model’s original coordinates.
What does DXF Exporter offer?
- 2D sections to DXF – export sections of an IFC model, with optional color-filling and support for multiple cutting planes.
- 3D models to DXF – transfer visible model geometry as 3D meshes.
- Colors and transparency – preserve the appearance of elements as configured in BIMvision.
