We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of the program, which introduces several improvements that increase work comfort, control over operations, and tool organization.
The capabilities of the measurement tools have been expanded to include a function for calculating the area of elements cut by a cutting plane. This new option allows for the precise determination of the cross-sectional area resulting from cutting a model, significantly simplifying geometry analysis and design verification. This functionality allows, among other things, displaying surface values in real time and using the results for further calculations and summaries.
To streamline the interface and improve model workflow, a new TRANSFORMATIONS tab has been created, grouping functions related to modifying the model’s position and orientation. The Coordinates, Offset, and Rotation functions have been moved to this tab from the MEASUREMENT tab. Model rotation allows for precise changes to the model’s orientation in the XY plane relative to a selected reference point. Separating these tools into a separate section improves interface clarity, shortens access time to key transformation operations, and streamlines the logic of working with the model.
The ability to color alignment lines has been added, making it easier to work with complex models.
Undoing rotation and translation operations regardless of the order in which they were performed has been made, providing greater flexibility when working with models.
The ability to bulk activate plugins using the command line has been introduced, streamlining the work environment configuration and deployment process.
Time control has also been added during the operations of the opening cutting. If the time limit for a single opening (9 seconds) is exceeded, cutting on that element will be aborted. If the total time for the operations of the opening cutting exceeds 5 minutes, further cutting will be aborted, and the user will be able to abort the file loading or view the model with partially cut openings.
